Ernie Rapoza

President & CEO

Ernie Rapoza has a long history with Delta Electro Power, starting when his father purchased the company in 1977. Not long after he was cleaning, sweeping floors, and conducting a variety of jobs through high school. Upon graduating from Bryant University in 1989, Ernie helped develop a custom software package to improve cost collection and automate the invoice process at Delta Electro Power.

As Delta’s Vice President of Operations, Ernie is responsible for overseeing and supporting activities in all departments, and is responsible for maintaining and increasing the efficiency of Delta’s business processes. Ernie communicates frequently with management, staff, and vendors to maintain and improve proper operations, and has a comprehensive knowledge of Delta’s ERP software in conjunction with the ability to extract data for specific management reporting requirements.

Ernie is a member of EASA (Electrical Apparatus Service Association) and a former coach for his kids’ soccer and baseball teams. Ernie resides in Somerset with his wife and 4 children and enjoys golf, poker and spending time with his family and friends.

Shawn Surbey

Sales Manager

Shawn Surbey has been a part of the Delta Electro Power team since 2017 and currently serves as Delta’s Sales Manager. Shawn brings over 33 years of experience in the Power Transmission industry, with 26 of those years spent at Martin Sprocket & Gear in various capacities.

Shawn is focused on growing sales and cultivating customer relationships, and enjoys solving customers’ most daunting application problems by providing powerful solutions. Shawn works directly with Delta’s Sales Engineers and Vendors to provide customers with uptime solutions.

Shawn spent over 8 years in the Ohio, North Carolina, and Massachusetts Air National Guard with an Honorable Discharge in 1994. Shawn currently resides in Mendon, MA with his wife Claire and daughters Lauren and Kathryn. When not working with customers or building customer relationships, Shawn enjoys spending time at the beach, playing golf, and volunteering at St. Gabriel’s Parish in Upton, MA.

Bob McNamara

Electrical Operations Manager

Robert “Bob” MaNamara came to Delta Electro Power through the acquisition of J.J. McNamara & Son Inc. in 2020, of which he was Owner and President since 1988. With over 40 years in the electrical industry, his experience showcases a diverse portfolio, including residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installations. He has worked closely with owners, facility managers and engineers on controls, data, and audio-visual systems.

As Delta’s Electrical Operations Manager, Bob enjoys working with property owners, facility managers, engineers, and customers to develop practical and efficient solutions to their electrical challenges and needs. Whether working with engineered plans or design-build, Bob always puts the customers’ best interest at the forefront.

Bob received his Journeyman Electrician License in 1983 and his Master Electrician License in 1984. He has been a member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI) Roger Williams Chapter since 1984. He served on New England Institute of Technology’s Technical Advisory Board for 10 years and is a member of the National Fire Protection Association. Bob is also NFPA 70E certified and holds his Rhode Island General Contractors License.

In his spare time, Bob enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and boating.

John Floyd

Service Manager

John Floyd has 30 years of experience in the industry and has been a part of Delta Electro Power since 1989. John currently serves as Delta’s Service Manager. Through his time at Delta, John has held a variety of roles with increasing responsibility in delivery, warehousing, winding, machining, and both field and in-shop mechanical positions. John was promoted to Floor Supervisor in 1998 and to Service Manager in 2019.

As Service Manager, John connects Delta’s customer requirements to the team’s skill sets and schedule. Having been hands on with most positions within the industry, John has an understanding of what is required to complete projects on time and to customers satisfaction.

John lives in Dartmouth with his wife, son, and daughter. In his spare time, John enjoys traveling, range shooting, and working on his vehicles.

Eric Novogrodski

Pump Product Manager

Eric Novogrodski came to Delta Electro Power in 2011 to create a pump division to further diversify the company’s offerings. With 40 years of experience in the Industrial pump industry, Eric has worked his way up the ranks and spent 19 years as an inside sales representative, applying customized pumps for all liquid handling applications. In 2001, he shifted his focus and was tasked with starting a pump division of an existing plating distribution business in order to diversify the company’s offerings and establish relations with pump manufacturers throughout the United States.

As Delta’s Pump Division & Business Development Manager, he is an expert in pump system troubleshooting and handling the movement of any liquid. Eric’s skill set of diversifying a company’s offerings has allowed him to excel with existing and new customer bases to provide energy saving, value added solutions with ROI potential to the customer.

When not at work, Eric likes to dine at local Rhode Island eateries with his wife Lisa and two daughters, Brianna and Tahlia. Eric also enjoys attending custom car shows.
